Do you know, we could solve the worlds homeless problem in a flash, we could loan out our beds during the night to people who need them and who can actually sleep. It’s a thought!
Hi there Hoochy. As you can see you have company at this ungodly hour. I have had no rest so far - first RLS as soon as I lay down and when that began to settle I got some lovely cramp (not the usual but very severe which seems nearly impossible to ease). Now I am sitting up in bed and starting to nod off but when I lie down I am wide awake again. All these lovely things in spite of oxycodone. You can’t win.
In November I discovered a lump and had to wait three frightening weeks to get the “all clear”. However during that time I discovered that my severe RLS and my dodgy eyesight were much preferable to cancer and it has helped me to accept that things could be worse.
I hope you and I can get a bit of shut-eye soon. I need some energy to take down my Christmas decorations!! 🌲🌲🌲
3am still awake it gives me some perverse comfort to know I’m not alone the rls keeps me awake but the funny not so funny ‘do’ I had new year eve makes me frightened to go to sleep it was the most scary thing I’ve ever experienced I would give me weight in gold to be able to sleep normally
Sorry to hear you had another bad night. I did also. I was trying not to go on my ipad in an attempt to get more sleep but I should not have bothered as I got very little sleep anyway. I find it easier to pass the time doing daft games and scrabble than just lying there and with frequent sorties along the bungalow for some "exercise" to stop the fandango.
Roll on the better weather. At lease parading around in the middle of the night is not so cold!!!
I meant to “ like” your post. I hope I did it right. I pressed the blooming thing twice by mistake, and it said “ unlike”. So I pressed it a third time.
Hopefully it now comes up as a like again. So basically, I LIKE IT.
I hope that you haven't had another bad night since new year's eve. I know what you mean about being afraid to go to sleep. I can't remember when I last had a good night's sleep, most of my nights are spent walking about. I will be thinking of you tonight
I know what you mean. Now that i'm retired (70) i don't have to get up for work so on bad nights i wonder the streets at 2.00am longing for 4.00am when i can sleep. The pramipexole brings on augmentation but i'm fed up trying new medications. Almost 50 years of RLS is debilitating. Found the massage machine made my legs ultra sensitive.
