Just wanted to share something that has worked for me. I have severe refractory RLS for which I am taking several medications. Until recently I have not been able to sit and watch TV or sit anywhere for any length of time even with the medications. I have recently acquired an "under the desk elliptical " that has helped tremendously. The brand name is Cubii. I can sit in a chair or on a sofa while constantly moving my legs. This works as well as pacing for me. The device is expensive but well worth the cost.
Now able to sit and watch TV - Restless Legs Syn...

Thanks for sharing and I am happy this works for you. I hope that is gives you a better ability to get much needed rest, even though you legs are still moving. But you can sit! Well done.
Hi dancer2: I have Parkinson's and RLS, take meds for both, and would like a non-drug treatment during my waking hours when the pain in my legs gets too intense and I have to move around; tends to be worse in the evening watching TV. My Parkinson's affects my right leg more and now my left leg is always sore from overcompensating, so exercise that does not require me to be upright would be good because it aggravates my left leg even more. I wondered if the Cubii Jr. is still working for you six months on from your original posting, since I have an option to get a new one at quite a good price (the Cubii is expensive!). Thanks
