Information required.

What medications are you taking, for how long? And dosage?

Ditto everything Madlegs has asked. I’ll bet you’re on Ropinirole or pramipexole.

Frank, you have my sympathy, I recognise your description, feeling like a zombie with your brain craving sleep, but your body not alllowing it.

The intensity of your symptoms and the earliness in the day when they start does suggest an issue with your medication. If that's the case, then there are solutions.

That's why the other's are asking for some detail.

Hi, your problem, specifically insomnia, may be in at least part due to Ropinirole. Dopamine Agonists are renowned for causing generalised restlessness, (as distinct from the "restlessness" in RLS. ). Insomnia is a side effect of Ropinirole.

Paradixically, you may find reducing your Ropinirole improves your sleep.

What doses are you taking?
