Try this maybe

Some chap swore to me magnetic insoles will work in one month. Start every other day for a fortnight then every day and in a month it will be gone. Obviously as an ex restless legs sufferer I was very sceptical but long shots are worth a shot when it comes to rls

Some long shots are worth a shot, but if the long shot is so long the shot misses then it's not worth shooting.

I wouldn't shoot the chap who shot you this long shot, but I think it's a bit short of an accurate shot, and in short, I'm not shooting for it.

I had an MRI scan a couple of weeks ago. Told to lie still for 30 minutes!

Very strong magnetic field, much stronger than any magnetic insole. I was worried I'd start twitching., but I didn't. Is my RLS cured? Sadly no. Nor is my arthritis.

If one person says something works, it works for them. If one person says it works and another says it doesn't then it works for one and not the other. If something works for a LOT of people more than it does for a lot of people who think they're getting it but aren't, then it will work for most people.

How many magnetic insoles can you afford?

Otherwise it's a shot.in the dark.

He could have come in six guns blazing and missed all the targets, he was a market trader 🤣.

"No more"

Does this mean magneto doesn't get RLS?

What's his thinking behind the insoles?

Glad you're no longer suffering

Unfortunately no, I stopped taking an anti depressant and two days later my rls was gone after 3 months of hell

You say ex RLS....did these insoles work for you??

There's your answer, antidepressants are known to exacerbate RLS, stopping the antidepressant has relieved your RLS.

How's your depression though?

I don't think any kind of insole can lift your mood.

Hands up. Yes I admit that I have tried these as well as all the other weird & wonderful ‘cures’ mentioned on this site & elsewhere. I’ve tried these, grounding sheets, copper bracelets, feet binders, numerous diets for long time periods, acupuncture, osteopathy, herbs, etc, etc.

My bank account has suffered as a result but when you’re desperate you’ll try anything. To my everlasting shame I’ve even tried the soap under the bedsheet.

The only positive thing about the magnetic insoles is that they’re cheaper than other ‘devices’. If you believe in these things then the placebo effect may help but my advice would be to save yourself the time and money.
