LDN and Norco...was doing six norco a day...took LDN with it and it made the pain with RLS a hundred times worse. The LDN partially blocks the opiod receptors...and when the natural endorphins build up pressure where the natural endorphins push themselves in the cell and you get pain relief. Now Norco uses the same part of the cell so when Norco accesses the cell and the LDN is blocking it? Boy you thought you had RLS just wait...it made my RLS a hundred times worse. It started hurting so damn bad I had to start eating Norco like crazy...
Now kratom is a different ball game...Kratom attaches it self to the top of the receptor not like opiods hitting it dead center...So Kratom works differently than does Norco.
So i was thinking about getting off Norco onto Kratom ...then Taking the Kratom with the NDL...therefore the NDL will not interfere with the Kratom because they use a different pathway to the cell. Now I am not a medical doctor and I do not recommend doing this. I might try it and get back to you folks...I still have visions of usins like .25 mg of LDN with Norco hopping around like a wild indian (I have about 20 percent cherokee blood)...But if the LDN dose not interfere with the Kratom pathway it may
give better pain relieve. The doctor took my b12...gave me an injection and I am getting 3 more that helped...also had veins collapse in legs...that got rid of severe cramping. You just cant give up the faith good luck...and happy dancing'
Also Joove light Nir light...when meds do not work shine the light on legs 10 minute treatments...Kicks the medicine right in.

I'll have to go and have little sit down, after reading that!😆
That all sounds very biochemical to me. I think I understand about LDN, Norco and endorphins. But I'm not sure that increasing endorphins is of much value if LDN also blocks endorphin receptors. No matter which direction they're coming from.
It doesn't sound logical to take an opioid for pain (?) and take something else separately to block it at the same time, unless a combination like Targinact. You need to get the balance right.
Why you're taking Norco isn't quite clear, is it for your RLS or is it for pain?
Six a day, this might be OK in terms of the Hydrocodone, but it's unwise to take too much paracetamol.
If your happy that the Kratom uses different receptors that's fine, you may not have the same problems.
I don't know how B12 injections fit in, I'm afraid.
The meaning of your last sentence entirely eludes me.
Sorry, I have to say your medication plan to me seems to almost as incoherent as what you write, so I can't help you any further.
Perhaps you need to discuss it all with your doctor.
Well I take everything for RLS...I used to have extreme cramping in legs...I went to the vein doctor and he collapsed the veins that were not returning blood back to the heart. Doctor said 50-50 chance of working. It did get rid of the severe cramping.
LDN only blocks part of the opiod receptor not the whole thing. The body then builds up your natural pain relievers...endorphins who push there way into the cell where you then get pain relieve. Never take Norco with LDN because it will block the Norco and you will go crazy.
Now I was thinking that the Kratom does not work like Norco. Norco attaches to the center of the cell. Kratom works by attaching to the side of the cell and that is how it works.
So I was thinking that if I took the Kratom and it does not attach to the center of the cell.
That I could take the LDN. Because even though it closes off part of the cell...the Kratom
does not use that route like LDN and Norco do. So you would get the effects of the LDN and Kratom...And maybe be able to get off Kratom and stick with LDN because it has more
good things for the body.
I found that my B-12 is way way low...the Doctor gave me a shot of B-12 and it seems to have a good effect on my RLS. My Iron is off the charts so my doctor suggested that I
have my blood drawn.
I hope this clears things up
My most humble apologies.
When I do the Norco my mind gets churning and .I start the Norco ramble where I know what
I am talking about, but trying to express it most folks wonder what planet I came from.
Oh one last thing I have been on Norco and never had to go to a higher dose. The
reason for that is I have a joove light. When the Norco quits working I shine the light
on my legs and with in 10 minutes the pain is gone...My neurologist stated at this stage
of RLS I should be on Methadone. He wanted to put me on methadone I told hime
I would stick with the Norco and Joove Near Infrared light. This therapy is called
Bio Photo Modulation and it has been well studied a lot of research behind it.
I also have a travel JOOVV near infared light. I'll try shining it on the backs my calves! There is a lot of exciting emerging science on this (PBM or photobiomodulation) to boost circulation and also stimulate mitochondrial function.
I'm interested in your theory of LDN locking into a different part of the receptor to Kratom. I'm really interested in this and how you came across it? I'd love to hear more! I am hoping to try LDN but understood it interferes with Kratom if taken together.
The joov light use it on the front and back of calves for 10 minutes at about 1 foot away. More than 10 it loses its effect. On the Kratom I will try to find the video on You Tube by some scientist who studies it.
Joovv sounds good to me, what research is that though,. Please can you give me a reference using Harvard referencing system i.e. authors, study title, journal title, volume no, issue no, page nos and year of publication to the research that says it's good for RLS. e.g like this
Wunsch A & Matushka K (2014)
A controlled trial to determine the efficacy of infrared and near infrared light therapy on patient satisfaction, reduction of fine lines, wrinkle, skin roughness and intradermal collagen density increase
Photomedicine and Laser Surgery vol. 32. no2. Pp 93-100
I already have some 850 nm LEDs just have to figure out how many volts is "medical grade power" and I can give it a go.
Here is a site would not call it science though...anecdotal at best...but is published in a peer review journal. Busy right now but will try to find more.
The problem with the above research is the sample size...we would need like 2000
folks with rls to give it some real credence. There are other scientific sites
out there you can check.
According to vein doctors folks with spider veins and have RLS can be cured by
shutting down the vein...my neurologist says BS...that is why we have science to disagree. You might be better off buying a jOOvv light or a Red Box. They have
been checked...vs trying to put one together unless you have an electrical engineering back ground...which i do not...Good Luck
