I’m glad to hear that you don’t feel groggy anymore!

You need to read your other posts.

Please, please, please take note of Elisse2 and nightdancers' replies.

Your sanity depends on it.

Yes, his sanity depends on listening to Elisse and nightdancer🤔

Personally, my sanity depends on listening to God.

(Sorry, couldn’t help but throw that in there🤣)

Just trying to help people who are obviously needing it, even tho they cant see it yet. Why the sarcastic comment. And its not just two of us, others have tried to guide this member.

in reply to

I didn’t mean that as an insult to either you or nightdancer. Not everyone gets my sense of humor, which is fine.

One thing I do a lot of is sense how others might feel. When I sense frustration or being overwhelmed in any party (it’s Bat3533’s in this case), I try and lighten the mood with humor. Humor can be hard to translate online because there is no context to go by (accompanying voice inflection, facial expressions, and/or other body language)

in reply to

I dont find it helpful. Bat3353 is needing help with augmentation, and just needs to read the comments from those trying to help. No one is overwhelming them.

in reply to

And that is okay. What matters to me is if the overwhelmed party finds it helpful to get a more «lighthearted» response. We can not be sure if they are getting overwhelmed or not, but we can try and sense it.

I’m not going to persue this anymore.

WE can tell when someone is overwhelmed, after leading groups and researching for 30 years. :) Also, I work with suicidal people, because of the opioid crisis in the US. So, I can pretty much figure it out. :)

in reply tonightdancer

One more and then I’ll stop. There are two types of overwhelming to me — that of the situation and that of how the given responses can make one feel. I’m referring to the latter.

Then, you have to remember that what you say MIGHT make the other person feel overwhelmed. Some people on here do not know you like several of us do, so you also have to consider that what you type might sound like something to one person, and something totally different to someone else.

in reply tonightdancer

Well played! That is true; I need to work on that.

Moving on please.

Sails go to the post of the woman who's husband has RLS, and see Bat3353 comments , he sounds fine to me, and seeing a new doctor on Monday. So thats something. :)

in reply to

When the person is telling another member to take what they are taking, they really need to read the comments on their post, and they will see that the dosage they take is waaaay to high, not a good idea to tell some one else to take that dosage when its too high.

I can only speak for my self I can only say about my experience and also I’m going to see a new doctor referred by the foundation on Monday thanks to your recomendations

in reply toBat3353

That’s great Bat3353! I hope you get the help you clearly deserve!

That is for sure! As with any med , no one person reacts the same to meds, and when we see an obvious problem, we need to call it out for the safety of the member asking.

Smiley faces do a lot to show the "tone" of anyone's reply. :) :) :) :)

Please see my post I just put up, "Clinical Management for Restless Legs Syndrome" The ultimate source for information. Cannot live without it, and neither can my doctor. Dr. Buchfuhrer and others cover ALL things RLS in great detail. :) I cannot stress enough that people really need this source of information. Any question that is asked on here , the answer can be found in there, I promise. :)
