Important! Check this if you have RSL

I am appalled that this programe , given its title, gave no cure either medical or alternative!!

I suffered with mildly when I had severe anaemia, RLS this condition is related to iron deficiency. However upping my potassium and magnesium was an even greater help, possibly 4-800mg a day but do find a good nutritionist .

The high quantity of processed food and sugar we eat actually prevent your body from absorbing nutrients!

Ditch the idea of low fat. Fat is an important nutrient transporter, good quality natural fats such as butter, cold pressed virgin oils, lard, duck fat, coconut oil etc... are essential.

You can find information on Youtube to help with this condition, come on channel 5, you can do better than this!

Fat is a vital dietary component. But you can't eat just as much as you like, it has to be balanced.

Hi Manerva, a medical professional said to me recently that we should all view the medical profession as an emerging science, if you are still wedded to the low-fat message please consider these comments seriously. When you consider all the new ways of treating ill health that is constantly emerging the words of this medical professional make complete sense to me. The message about eating low fat was debunked approx 25-30 years ago. As I have recently lost over 2 stone, normalized my blood sugar, improved my mental function and given up other medication with no ill effect, you will forgive me if I take your advice with a pinch of salt.

Please do research on how higher, natural fat diets are helping people regain their health from some of the worlds most serious health problems. Think, we have plugged the low-fat message at a time when we are all getting fatter, having more heart attacks, high cancer diagnosis and much more. Some indigenous populations who have a very high-fat diet are much healthier than us.

I hope to inspire you to research and update your knowledge.

With Respect.

Thanks Yagamo, I'm already suffering from information overload and only have a limited time left on the planet so very economic about how I spend my time. I don't get much indication from the many people suffering from RLS on this site that it's worth spending time doing any research into diet as a means of controlling RLS.

I also have a limited amount of energy and resources to put into the things that I think are worthwhile.

I'm sorry if you found my comment in any way offensive or over-generalised. I merely sought to put your ideas in context.

You have my full approval to eat whatever you feel is best for you.

Not what you're looking for?
