I had rls occasionally for 20 years but 6 years ago it started every night about 8.30 and continued for the rest of the night. I was constantly shattered. Last April I started going to the gym 4 times a week using free weights. After 5 to 6 weeks my rls had completely gone. I don't need to tell anyone who has rls how amazing it feels to get relief. I am still rls free.. And its wonderful

What great news! What time of day do you exercise?
Sadly, exercise is not an option for me - my RLS seems to be a symptom of ME/fibromyalgia, so I have chronic fatigue. A high dose of magnesium every day helps a lot, though.
Great to hear. Weight training is the one exercise that is really supposed to help RLS. Dopamine is stored in muscles- so maybe that is the reason.
