Assuming you mean the Neupro patch yes. If my legs start playing up, usually when I am sitting down in the evening, the patch has probably come off .

I don't think the new one (the old one disappeared) worked immediately but I can't remember how quickly my legs settled. Sorry!

I haven’t used the Neupro patch for about a year, but I remember that if it came off or came loose, and I hadn’t noticed, I would suffer for anything up to 12 hours (depending on how long I had been without it)

Oh Katerina I have trembles and shakes if my patch is loose or comes off...and even if I replace it immediately I have a bad RLS time. I try and take extra care putting it on and keeping a warm hand over it for a few minutes to seal the edges. It stays on & works better on my shoulders for some reason. Probably because I sleep on my side and it crinkles a bit on my arms.

Hi Katerina

I don't know how this 3-month old post just showed up in front of me but let me go through a few ideas I had for you in a more recent post - just in case others reading this may need similar help. I was on Neupro last year for about six months and had the same problems with the patches. If they fell off (often - especially in hot weather. If you are going to do something sweaty try and wait until afterwards to put the patch on.) it took several hours before the symptoms were noticeable. But, once off, I would not get relief from a new one for several hours as well. (I kept very detailed records.). It was also apparent that there is a big difference in how it's absorbed depending upon where on your body you put the patch. You need to move it often around your body so that the rash/itch is kept to a minimum but it seemed (to me) to get best absorbed when I put the patch on my shoulder or upper arm. If it's not sticking well then it's not delivering the dose you are expecting - try rubbing the application site beforehand with Smith & Nephew Skin-Prep Protective Dressing Wipes - they are cheap and I got them through Amazon. If the Neupro lifts anyway try putting a protective patch on top - I used Transparent Adhesive Dressing Waterproof 4x4s by Areza Medical - also cheap through Amazon. They say you can even swim with it, but really, don't swim for long. But they may be falling off due to being a bad batch of patches. They have a very small temperature range that they need to be kept in - 68-77 degrees F. If too cold (refrigerator is too cold) or too hot (mine once sat on my porch for a couple hot summer days when I had mail delivery...) the adhesive loosens. But please hear this. The maximum dose to accept is 3mg. I had a doctor that ignored that entirely and had me go far above. That leads to a whole new (unacceptable) set of side effects.
