RLS came back due to incompetence of doctor.

Due to lack of sleep, clinic doctor thought I was having a psychosis and had to get evaluated at a psychiatric hospital. Psychiatrist said it was due to withdrawal from my regular meds I was taking, clonazepham. My RLS came back tenfold! recently lost my family doctor so I saw a clinical doctor to renew my meds I had been taking for 20 years and before it was Ativan for 10 years. He decided to cut them off completely to my horror! He decided to put me on a Parkinson’s Disease medication that had horrid side effects. I had to stop them after two weeks. My RLS is worse than ever. My next appointment is only next month with a new family doctor. I hope she will help me. I am turning into a Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde!

How awful for you, to be completely cut off from your meds, stupid stupid doctor, should know that meds need to be weaned off so you don t suffer with bad side effects. Hope the new doctor will be more helpful.
