Hi all

Had my PIP assessment (UK ) yesterday don't think it went to well got asked about the RLS the assessor asked if i went to Physio for it hmm.... i said no as it wouldn't do anything and asked her if she knew what RLS actually is she replied of course as she suffered with it hmm... if she does she knows nothing about it . Anyone that has had an assessment will know by rights she should ask all the questions that's actually on the form she didn't and she rushed it then refuse to let me read what she wrote saying i should have read it as she was doing it hm... one problem there how can i read what she writes and lip read what she's saying sadly she got my defence wall up from the word go . This is my 4th night of no sleep not sure how long i can keep this up specially now it's a waiting game to find out if i get PIP and if my ESA gets stopped too :( Long story about the assessment in all as it wasn't just about RLS asking someone to slow down their speech due to hearing loss doesn't mean they have to shout gggrrrrr nor going on and on about the C Implant ggrrrr sooooooooooooo not going to physio nor having C Implant or having back operation is self inflicted by the sounds of it . sorry for ranting on x Hope anyone going through the PIP Assessment doesn't get the same one i had whatever her name was .

It seems to happen alot with these assessors, all they want to do is get you back to work and save the Government money. She knew NOTHING about RLS, if she suffered at all she would understand, physio? really. pffttt.! Can you appeal if you get turned down...?

I'm worried if they stop my DLA/PIP then it'll kick start them stopping my ESA and yeah try getting me back into work going to the jobcentre would be hard enough im 9 miles in the middle of nowhere with no buses , I'm sure she didn't suffer with RLS too coming out with a comment like she did lol Physio really! if i fail i will ask for a MR (mandatory reconsideration) just the long wait for it all to go though gggrrr .

I'm sure the assessor can't pressure someone into a cochlear implant that's what she kept repeating why haven't i considered it same goes for back surgery . think these people should have deaf awareness training .

So sorry you got such an arrogant and indifferent person. Hope you have mental support at home or close to home. It is no fun, they can make you feel they see you as a parasite. Hope you can let go a bit, although I know from experience that is easier said than done.

I have no support but will be asking for some feel i really need it did try couple times but i tend to keep things locked up in person. Aye that's true they do make you feel like a parasite nerves got the better of me i always get this stupid cough that'll last for weeks and of course sets the RLS off worst than it usually is as if it isn't bad enough already 5 nights of no sleep at all finally got some last night just wish this cough would do one now ggrrr something i've always get when nerves kick in . I'm tired of jumping through all these hoops they set up for us as you may well know waiting for us to trip up .
