Getting help in Italy

I think my six year old has RLS. My mother has it and my son communicates the intense need to move at night but i also see the frustration during the day when he has to be "still". Does anyone know of a doctor or group in the south pf Italy. I mentioned it to my childs doctor and he thought he should see a physcologist.

Thank you for replying but I emailed him a few years ago and it was bounced back.

Oh sorry you have tried that before. RLS Foundation has obviously not updated who can be contacted for Italy. :(

Best to see a neurologist. The Doctor should have tried Ropinirole first, lack of Dopamine.

Then Gabapentin for possible nerve problem.

This is 6 yr old child, and should not be given any dopamine meds which adults use. They are far too strong for a child.

I'm with you on the neurologist. I saw a pediatric neurologist as a young child. We definitely should not be giving any medical advice, though!
