What’s the general consensus regarding Requip?

For me personally it helped for a while. But due to lack of knowledge by doctors and nuerologist of rls, It was increased every time my legs got worse, ending up on 4mg and augmentation. I wouldn't take it again.

You have just come off pramipexole due to augmentation, requip is another dopamine drug. The consensus is if you have augmented on one you are likely to on another pretty quickly.

You may get away with a low dose Neupro patch but no guarantees.

Personally after what I went through with my withdrawal from ropinirole (requip) I would never take a dopamine drug again!

Thanks. I was so desperate that I agreed against my better judgment to try ropinerol. But after 3 nights I’ve already suffered from night sweats and insomnia. I’m trying to find someone who will work with me with opioid treatment.
