Hi everyone, I’m hoping someone can help?!

I’ve had sensations in my buttocks and thighs predominately for approaching two years, occasionally behind knees and calves too. This is bad enough but the worst part is that my thighs and buttocks get burning hot, actually hot to the touch - the chair is physically hot to touch beneath me. I’ve had various tests and nothing to report. The Dr won’t do any further tests until I try Amitryptyline as he says it will help with the symptoms and with sleep. I’ve put off taking the drugs as I’m concerned about side effects but more concerned that my symptoms are not common? Has anyone ever heard of this actual burning as opposed to a ‘burning sensation’ internally?? It’s hell to live with as I do a desk job 5/6 days a week. Any comments gratefully received.

Sorry I cannot be of more help here, but I can give you a suggestion. Have you tried a pet cooling mat for when you sit?
