The problem with cannabis for RLS is it isn't well researched. You have a vast array of products which all fall under the cannabis umbrella. You have CBD oil which does not contain THC (the psychoactive component) and you have THC oil. However the cannabis oil even if it does contain THC could be raw and thus not decarboxylated - non psychoactive. When the raw oils are not decarboxylated (heated) they are much milder and more like a powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory agent. However for people to get relief from RLS they often need to use heated oil containing THC or to smoke cannabis. For some people the non-psychoactive CBD oil could help but most need the activated (heated) oil containing THC and this is usually hard to get and illegal in most countries unless you live in the USA or Canada. As you can see it isn't just a matter of saying cannabis doesn't work.
