Hi Beady, I take Pregablin 50 mg in the morning and 75 mg in the evening but to be honest it doesn't help my urge to move sensations but it helps with pain. It is the patch and painkillers which help my RLS. I hope that you have more success with the Pregablin. Take care x

Thanks pippin doc said I could go up to 300mg slowly with Pregablin ,after reading it can give you kidney probs it scares me stif ,also if there is heart probs in the family well there is , it makes me feel so low as what to do , i do get terrible pain in my legs when it starts , god help me I will probably just stay in the bath as that’s the only thing that helps with the pain

Give it a go Beady it may help your pain but you will have worsening RLS with stopping the Tramadol. Do hot water bottles help you at all? Take care in the bath until you see how you react to the higher dose of Pregablin, don't want you to fall to sleep in the bath x

I'm in the same boat with other health issues that limit what meds i can take. I'm currently in the process of getting off of pramipexole and have started on lyrica. From what i understand, over time lyrica can cause swelling of extremities... something i have to watch with my heart issues. How is your iron levels? I'm hoping iron infusion helps me

Hi although Lyrica works wonders for some it isn't the best type of med for weaning off Pramipexole. A strong painkiller usually helps more until you are over the Pramipexole withdrawals but Lyrica may be useful after that stage. I get swelling in my hands but had it before the Lyrica, I take a water tablet which helps x
