Hi Emz

What medication has your doctor prescribed that does not work for you?

You may be suffering from PLMD. Periodic Leg Movement Disorder. This link may be of some help to you:

Gabapenthin and codeine, thank you I’m gna have a look at that

I find strong sleeping pills make the problem worse because they don’t stop the legs but you feel dazed and confused and it’s more difficult to cope.

Your symptoms sound very severe. Check your not taking anything that makes rls worse, for example some anti-histamines, some anti-depressants, benedryl (in cough bottles), some artificial sweeteners, anitryptiline etc.

It sounds like you may need a stronger treatment. Maybe a stronger opioid like tramadol or OxyContin along with the gabapentin. Some people don’t absorb gabapentin so well - it might be worth trying pregabalin.
