I have a question for those who are on or have tried Trazadone. Did you notice having vivid, disturbing dreams?

TIA

I have been taking 75mg - not noticed any dream issues. Been taking for 12 months. Started at 50mg capsules, that was increased to 75mg tablet (150mg cut in half) at night. Found the capsules more effective than the tablet - but now I am weaning myself off them, as I don't believe that I am getting any benefit - lack of sleep is now bad.

I have been taking alongside Pregablin 300mg per day.

Hi

I’ve just had the best sleep ever. Yesterday I watched two videos on You Tube about the Vagus Nerve. Afterwards I started the breathing exercises and chanting which massages the nervous system from the inside. I’m lying in bed writing this and my legs feel very relaxed as if all of the worry has gone out of them (if that makes sense)

Please give it a try.

Hi, Have been on Trazadone for 2 months, after 3 other changes of ant- depressants. It hasn't done much for me except making me itch all over. Seeing G.P. next week for something else. J.

I see. Okay. Sorry to hear that. It works well for my anxiety and even relieves pain. But the dreams are not helpful. I wake up several times a night, every night, for one reason or another. Sometimes it's rls. I always have bad dreams though. Just curious if this could be a side effect.

I have no dreams whatsoever on trazadone which is unusual for me. I took Cymbalta for a while and that caused me really upsetting and vivid dreams at the beginning. I have only been on trazadone for two weeks and I feel like once I am out I don’t stir, but the hangover is terrible and I am so tired the next day it kind of defeats the object. I take half of the lowest dose so I think it might not be a good fit for me. Good luck.

I've been taking trazadone for about one month. 50 mg did nothing. Doc upped it to 150 and the first night, during the period just before I fell asleep I had the most vivid and enjoyable "dream". I didn't want it to end, and the next night I couldn't wait for the show to begin. But alas, it never repeated.
