Does the lying down relieve the symptoms?

Yes if I do it immediately as soon as my legs start bothering me .

Thats so strange!Resting makes it start up or worsens it!

Unlikely to be rls- it is the opposite. Urge to move when at rest!?????

For 20 years when I was teaching my legs drove me crazy when sitting during evenings. As soon as I went to bed the creepy, tingling sensations stopped. When I retired at age 62, no longer standing all day, legs fine during evening, but 1-2 hours after going to sleep they wake me up and force me to get up and stretch for some relief.
