Hi my name is Kim and I am a mother of two boys 25 & 24 and my fiance's son who is also 24. I have a lot of medical conditions, but the most frustrating one for me is the RLS. If I am tired and go to lie down, most times, I have to get up and stretch, walk around or take meds so that I am able to function. One of the most frustrating things is when I was first diagnosed, it was only my legs, then as time has gone on its my shoulders as well. I'm hoping that being a part of this community I'll get some idea's that I can speak to my doctor about. I'm glad to be here and can't wait to meet people who have the same problem as I do.

Hi Kim, welcome to the forum. What medications or other treatments are you currently taking for the RLS? Please also be careful if you are taking other meds for your other conditions as they could react with the RLS meds. Anti-depressants are a good example. I'm sure you will get lots of useful help and advice on here, everyone understands exactly how frustrating this awful condition is. Adge
Welcome! As Adge asks, what are you currently using to help? have you had your ferritin levels checked?x
Hi Kim and welcome to our forum. We all know so well what frustration you are going through. The lack of rest is absolutely the worst thing. As you will see by reading posts here after a while your meds stop working and actually act against you, spreading the feelings to other parts of the body. This is part of augmentation. It is time to change meds.
As others have said, let us know what meds you take and the doses (even over-the-counter ones, because sometimes they inter-react) and we will give what help and advice we can.
