Be careful. Correlation is not the same as causation. As in: storks and babies arrive in spring (still true that more babies are born in spring!). But that doesn't mean that storks deliver the babies. Sorry to disappoint you 😩🙃.

Thus:

People with inflammation may have (increased) plms and rls.

But people with rls (and very often plm) do not necessarily have inflammation.
