RLS FOOD ADDICTION WITH TAKING PRAMIPREXOLE

Hi, has anyone put on weight with taking pramiprexole because I have has anyone kicked the habit of feeling hungry all the time.

or am I the only one to put on weight with taking this drug and finding it very hard to get the weight off.

Now down to 3 pramiprexole a night now instead of 6 but the addiction for food is still as strong.

Pramipexole is a dopamine med. In the side effects that come in the papers with your prescription, there should be a warning about "compulsive behavior" issues. Compulsive gambling, eating, shopping, etc is a strong warning on the dopamine meds now.

I havent had any side effects.I m on 0.18 of pram since 2012.

I have - cant stop shopping online and increased eating binge icecream and smoking - cant stop!!! - Jan

I am on .25mg a night, and while I have not had any compulsory behaviors (including food), I have put on almost 30 pounds. I ear no more now than when I started, yet I continue to put on weight.

I went from a size 8-to a 16 in a few weeks along with shopping more I refused to take it and am still struggling with the last few pounds.I don,t know if every one has these reactions but nothing fitted after being a steady size all my adult life.There is always a price to pay some worse than others on top of all that it did sweet all for my RLS.
