I have celiac disease and avoid anything that could contain gluten or wheat. Such avoidance has not curbed my RLS. I also take magnesium citrate and iron which is often deficient in Celiacs and often the culprit in celiac related RLS.
I do find that whenever I'm on vacation and away from computers I'm RLS free. That is my one, long term observation re: RLS.
Trying to find a way to work this into real life has been, so far, an unwinnable challenge.
