Are you asking about the Restless Legs Syndrome Foundation? That would be rls.org. You can join for $40 and it is well worth it. They have some good information on it and you get their monthly magazine. They also have a discussion site. There is no RLS USA site per se.

Hope you have used this forum before looking back at your posts on here it was a year ago you posted. Even though you are in the USA you will get help and support on this forum look back at your previous posts to this forum. Maybe you have just forgotten this where you can ask about RLS.

Hope, this site is run by RLS-UK, but welcomes members from all over the world. The US RLS foundation has a website that contains a lot of information at

rls.org

It is worthwhile joining, as the US foundation has thousands of members and the membership fee is used for research as well as information.

While you're very welcome to join the many US (and worldwide) members who use this site, there is an RLS Foundation Discussion Board: bb.rls.org/

What was that website where people ask questions of Dr. Buchfuhrer and he rather quickly answers them? Thank you.

I think it was just an email address rather than a website.

Dr Buchfuhrer was at the following address a year or so ago and very kindly responded to me within a few days about a question on ferritin levels.

somno@verizon.net

Aha! Thanks, Munroist.

Besides the address that Munroist has provided, Dr B's Stanford email is

markb99@stanford.edu

(I've not tried to contact him myself so don't know which works best)

The current address for asking questions to Dr Buchfuhrer is: somno5586@outlook.com.

You can find this at his website rlshelp.org under the yellow button. Also there you can find a very long list of previous questions and his answers.

I hope you are well, DoDahMan! You helped me years ago with valuable info and experiences about kratom.

However, be careful, this site is not up to date under treatments as it mentions NEW for medicines approved in 2012 and it said the average dose of gabapentin being 800-900 mg, usual bedtime dose is between 300-800 mg. and lists Lyrica (Pregabalin) as new - with no reference to it being basically gabapentin; says take iron 3 times/day - even Dr Buchfuher says 2X dose every second day It doesn't recommend magnesium therapy. says Lunesta is the only drug that has been studied for long term (6 months or longer) use is now the only sleeping pill that has been proven to be non-addictive or cause tolerance which is not true. I emailed him awhile back and he admitted the site was not up to date.

I am well, Lotte, thanks to the low-dose (10mg/day) methadone therapy that Dr. B continues to prescribe for me. In fact, next week I make one of my semi-annual 560-mile round trip journeys to Downey, CA, to fulfill the requirement to be seen in person because I'm an out-of-state patient.

Cheers to you, and hope you profited from my experience.

I’m in the US and there is no need to search for a US site. This one is by far the best!
