I have been suffering for the last 3 weeks or more (losing count now) with constant rls at night. I've suffered with it recently but it has usually cleared by the next day.
I need help finding a way to deal with it any one got any suggestions? I've got a Dr's appointment next week to see if there is any underlying problem but need to do something about it now.
Thanks

Can't recommend any medication that could be dangerous but I have full body RLS, I'm like a windmill and a nodding dog combined. Purely in desperation one night I was so tired I just layed down on the living room carpet. I was bad for a few minutes and then suddenly it was an hour later, I had fallen asleep. Now if my meds are not controlling it this is what I do!
I suffer from RLS too it seems like it always hits in the evening I can't keep my legs/arms still and I have a tingling sensation all through my body it's terrible I suffered from RLS as a child just in my legs I am 43 now and this disease or whatever it is ..is the most aggravating thing I've ever had and I'm always exhausted from lack of sleep 😩
This probably sounds weird, but the thing I find that helps is a cup of coffee. Not suggesting it's the ultimate medical breakthrough, but anything that stops me falling back on prescription drugs is a bonus (I'm on Pramipexole, but don't want to increase the dose any sooner than I can help!).
Don't laugh but I think aspartame makes my RLS worse. I have done a little experiment and when I chew a lot of sugarless gum and drink Diet Coke my RLS increases. When I stop, it goes away.
