Clozapam, weight gain and how to get off!

I am 64 year old female. I inhearted a heart disease and have had 3 MI 12 stents and triple bypass over last 12 years. As a child I have had restless legs. In 1980 my Dr put me on clozapam 1 mg Later when Mirepex came out I started on that as well. I tried going off clozapam several years ago. Got to .5 and started with migraines. Went back in it. Trying again and same thing the migraines are called hemiplegic migraines. They mimick a stroke. So was told to go back on clozapam. In the 6 weeks I cut doseage I was able to loose 7.5 lbs. now I have gained back 3 lbs in three days. Has anyone else had this problem and what can be done? I really want off the clozapam. Any help is greatly appreciated. Janet
