Very disappointed with the long awaited programme about RLS. Did we really need
to see so many examples of it. We know all that! Why didn't the 2 consultants offer
any help or advice. They didn't suggest anything that would help sufferers to live
with it.
I was disappointed too, didn't help those suffering, just talked about a few peoples hell and nothing more. 😕
Like you, I was watching waiting on what can be done to alleviate the symptoms, advice from doctors, from sufferers who had alleviated the RLS, nothing.

I am sorry you were disappointed with the RLS programme. It was to promote awareness and it certainly appears to have done that when seeing the big flutter of extra postings on this forum since last night and the RLS FB page went crazy. I know that Dr Spinks was interviewed for 2 hours as he posted on the RLS FB page yet he was only on the programme for a few minutes. The same probably goes for Mr. Leschziner. What was decided to go into the programme was decided by the programme editors.
I can understand that the RLS programme was intended to promote awareness,
but why spend the whole hour on some ridiculous examples. If your husband
doesn't want your feet on him, why keep doing it? Don't they have any other chairs
RLS can change your life and you have to be prepared to make some changes
to combat this. A great opportunity was missed with consultants 'on hand' to at
least suggest some forms of treatment. Clearly, the programme editors have no
personal experience of RLS and left out what was most important to sufferers
looking for help.
