I'm currently taking ropinirole for rls and that has helped to suppress the urge to more my legs however I still get pain most nights and in the morning my legs still hurt till at least midday. Cocodamol has helped a little but not brilliantly. Should I go back to my doctors? I don't want to come off the ropinirole as that has been a big help.

Its a difficult tightrope to walk, if you can get a sympathetic and understanding GP to help great. It may be worth looking for a referral to a pain clinic so some more long term solutions can be looked at.

Good luck.

I am on ropinirole i take 3 x 0.25mg 3 times a day i also take co-còdamol when i get any pain that works for me. I don,t no what dose you are on but maybe you need higher dose. Also my co-codamol are from the doctor they are 15/500mg. All the best what ever you decide to do

Like you I am on Ropinirole, I was on 3x 1mg. have been prescribed Tramadol I now Manage on 1-5mg or 2mg Ropinirol at 9pm and 1x 50mg Tramadol at 1pm then another Tramadol 1x50mg at 6pm. Quality of life a lot better.

No side affects from Tramadol , Might not suit every one but well worth a try

Best wishes
