I have just looked at this youtube video which i found interesting but was surprised to see other Videos of RLS and periodic limb movement on there as well!

I have been on gabapentin 300mgs three times daily since before Christmas which was great with no or little symptoms. However its starting to come back and i am increasing the dose slowly. According to the video on Augmentation you only seem to get this with the dopamine drugs, is this what others have Found. I don't want to increase meds and then RLS just gets worse with every increase . Thanks

Its is definately only the dopamine meds that cause Augmentation, and Tramadol but very rarely.

Thank you so much Kaarina. I want one of my sons to see this, he's been tough on me when I told him what I had after he saw me in a small attac before my med kicked in and had the same opinion of me being crazy like most of us have heard at one time or another. I was surprised to hear it's most prevalent us Northern Europeans and Scandinavians. My father was from Finland, he died young so I never had a chance to find out anything about his background, I was two and he had a heart attack Lon an airplane. Thanks again.

Pippins 2, he's understanding now, but really, if anyone sees us with an RLS attack they're sure to think we're crazy with some of the movements we do. It's hard for people to understand, we can't explain it because its inexplainable, so he just thought I was going nuts. He's ok with it now. I still want him to see this video but now I don't know how I can email this to him. I wrote the name down so he can maybe find it on YouTube. Thanks for your words of compassion , they're always welcomed.
