Hi I use Ropinerole which I find usually helps provided I take them an hour or so before I go to bed but have been reading online various articles suggesting that a gluten free diet can alleviate RLS. Just wondered whether anyone has any experience of or thoughts on this??

Gluten free diet
I'm on a gluten free diet and I've noticed a good improvement in health, (less pain for one).
I would try lacto free as well both together are great, imho.
Hi. I would also be interested if anyone has tryed gluten free diet, i would try anything to get some relief but i have,nt heard or read that anyone has x
Probably something you just need to try. But from what i know and have read its not going to help with RLS. Some people are gluten sensitive and it can help them..
Hello Glosman, I have been following a gluten free diet as a by-product of gastric problems and initially I thought it was helping but then RLS kicks in again and I have a bad night or two which was the situation before going gluten free. Probably worth a try as we are all different and what works for one person can be disastrous for another. Good luck, I hope it works for you.
i was completely gluten and dairy-free for six months. It did help some gastric problems I was having but didn't seem to help the RLS at all. But just feeling better overall is a help.
