Hi I wish I could be part of this but leaving the country is not anything I would be a part of due to the current events in the world .But would love to tell you a story I had an industry accident in 1998 and have had RLS or what ever you want to call the whole body shake's thing when I'm going to sleep . I have been on mirapex since that time and recently stop to try another medication Requip I think it is and stopped cold turkey on the mirapex .That was the wrong thing to do I suffered for a whole month with body aches and there where days my wife had to help me out of bed and helped get dressed . Head aches chilles I went thru hell untill the docter put me back on the mirapex it took about a month more for me to regain my strength I'm back up to the max dose I think I can take per docter and I'm still jurking I assume the accident I had is the cause of my RLS body jurks and the mirapex stop's some of the jurking but its a nitely thing .
I would be willing to be a contributor
Sorry, I live in the USA.
On 10/09/15 , I got a total knee replacement and developed RLS which still bothers me. My doctor was surprised but feels it will go away as my knee gets stronger.
I spoke to a number of folks at the YMCA and PT who had their knees replaced but none experienced RLS

I would give an account of my years of suffering with RLS. But not be on a documentary. I have had RLS since I was 20. It gets worse as you get older.
I am In The USA, and have tried every remedy anyone recommended any time any where. The only relief I ever get is the dopamine agonists or opiates. I try to stay away from opiates because when I had Colon Cancer in 1999 and a colon blow out occurred I had to have a colostomy bag for 3 months while the infection inside my abdomen settled down and was highly allergic to any adhesive that was used to keep it in place. The only way I got thru it was opiates. When My colon was re connected I tried to stop the pain killers and the withdrawal was pure hell. I got thru it and don't want to go thee again. Addiction is epidemic in America. Hundreds of young men and women die every month and dug dealers stand on the street corners in Chicago and sell the stupid white kids, from the North Shore, fixes for 4 dollars a glassene bag of heroin. They are not in pain or have RLS, they just want to get high. It is a sad scene.
