I can barely stand on one leg with my eyes open or closed. but then i am at the age where doing this is not as easy as when i was younger. Never read any where that balance is related to RLS.

Never heard of this being connected to RLS. I have been standing on one leg and then the other daily, since being dx with osteoporosis and this balancing on one leg like a flamingo does get easier with practice. I am not good enough yet to do this with eyes closed. I live in hope though. ;)

I have read that this is a function of getting older, not RLS. I notice that I can no longer stand on one leg with my eyes closed, whereas I could when I was younger.

My balance was the only thing I failed after completing a 8 week fitness program.

Yes I have a balance problem. I am a yoga enthusiast and I cannot get the balancing. I have flat feet could contribute.

It's incredibly frustrating but I practise tree pose.

I have spinal alignment issues so could play a part too? Hyperlordosis

There's also a slight possibility that it could be a medication side effect, if you're taking anything.

Check out the list here:

Changes in balance are a less common side effect of tramadol. It's a possibility.

I can barely stand on 2 legs without any pain and legs giving way, I dare to try only on one leg , , good luck to you all when trying this out but I will give it a miss for fear a trip to A & E would be the end result
