I've been using these for about 3 weeks. 100mg, split 4 ways, so 25mg.
About 10 minutes before I go to sleep and not once have they let me down, I fall asleep almost immediately. I hope I'm not jinxing this. Just interested to know if anybody else has tried these and with what results?
Trazadone is an antidepressant that helps promote sleep, and it is one of very few anti-d's that will not exacerbate RLS. I loved it while I was taking it for about 6 years. had to switch for reason other than RLS, though. It is a good med to help induce sleep, will not stop an RLS attack though. Glad it worked well for you while you were on it. I take lyrica primarily and recently thought Id give these a go as they're non addictive. So far so good, but very early days.

Hi mummyjanny,I am currently in the process of changing from Paroxetine(paxil/seroxat) over to Trazadone .This is due to Paroxetine being the type of med that makes RLS worse for most of us.I am interested in your reasons for taking Trazadone , is it as an antidepressant or sleep aid primarily? I need it as an antidepressant so I wondered how you rated it if you are taking it for the same reason.Most people I speak to take it in lower doses as a sleep aid, Although the bonus of sleep aid sounds great it is to replace my current antidepressant. trazodone was a trigger for my legs to be crazy
Not tried it but will def give it a go. My RLS has worsened, maybe stress as I have a terminally ill husband. Can you buy this over the counter?
Just read through this properly so no I cant take it as I am already on anti depressants
