Hi Daisymay, It was taken from being a OTC pill because they found it was causing some people i think it was heart problems. I would ask your doctor to see if he will prescribe it for you. As long as you do not have the problems they its linked to i would think you can get it. From what i read when i researched it a while ago, it can still be used as a anti-nausea med. People used to also use it for other tummy problems as in bloating etc. I still have a few of them myself that i bought before the new rules came in. I dont need to use them all the time.
Thanks Elisse I'm seeing the doctor on Thursday so will see what she suggests! After reading the warnings about people having heart attacks while taking them I'm a bit worried now!
Hi yes its available from GP under the name of domperidone. My GP gave me some incase I needed them x
Thank you I,ll see what my doctor suggests.
I don`t know why theyr`e panicking about motillium, only 6 people out of many thousands have died after taking the drug. Many more people have died as a result of aspirin & paracetamol.
While you are asking Doctor for RX. Ask him for a prescription for marijuana. You can get in pill form. It cured my dad of nausea when he was going thru chimo. It helps me with pain. I smoke it.
Landman, marijuana is illegal in the UK, in any form.

Yep, cannot get medical MJ in the UK. I am in the US, and have no issues with it, and it sure helps MY nausea and PAIN.
