Hi Beady, sorry legs playing up again. My GP told me to take 2 paracetamol with the tramadol as together it makes the tramadol work better, Check it out with your doctor . Hopefully better tomorrow night when you go back to your usual routine, We have to remember with RLS nothing seems to work 100 percent of the time.Good luck :) x

Hi, Pippins, agree with you about the Paracetamol. I was told at pain clinic that the two drugs work better taken together, and I've found it to be true in my own experience.

Hi Beady, I take Tramadol & Paracetamol for pain relief from Peripheral Neuropathy. I do believe they work better together. I start with 1 Tramadol 50mgs & 1 Paracetamol 500mgs. if this is not effective I can then then increase to 2 Tramadol & 2 Paracetamol if necessary.

I MUST STRESS that these doses were prescribed to me by the Doctor at the Pain Clinic I attend. I would not advise anyone to take these same dosages unless advised to by a Doctor.

You could ask your GP if he/she thinks it might help for you.

I believe you have previously said that your GP said you could take 4 Tramadols a day if necessary, does this not work for you ? Tramadol are a very good tablet to take for RLS & nerve pain, so I don't think you should worry about taking the dose your GP said you can take.

If taking 2 in the evening works for you then I would stick with that - anything that gives you relief from the hated RLS is a blessing.

Take care x

Hi beady, i can understand you wanting to try to reduce your dose to see if that will work. Sorry it didnt, so hope tonight will be better for you taking both the pills.

p1pp1ns is right, sometimes even our normal dose of meds fail us, resulting in a bad night or two. Making us think...now what do i do or take. Then, those same meds start working again...!! :)
