I may have found an answer! i was prescribed 0.5mg in the morning and the same in the evening. However after 3 months rls returned. I thought i would stop medication and take 50mg tramadol for 10 days to see if i could "reset" the effect of the Ropnirole. It seemed to work but after 2 weeks RLS returned!! BUT i found by accident that by moving my 0.5ng Ropinirole prescription from the morning to lunchtime followed by the 0.5mg Ropinirole prescription after dinner the RLS has disappeared!!! Lets hope it continues!
