I had a lovely nights sleep last night (for a change) I had a hot bath followed by 2 Paracetamol and a glass of warm milk and it worked for me xx

Glad you have found something that works for you. Unfortunately hot baths stopped working for me several years ago which was when I started taking pramipexole. That is still working although I can't say I am completely pain and jiggle free. My GP prescribed ibrufen and high dose of codeine for an injury short term and I had some of the best sleep then. Can't keep taking codeine though as it can have associated health risks.

Have lost weight recently deliberately and wonder if anyone has any experience of reducing pramipexole because of this and is it adviseable. Don't want to rock the boat and end up losing more weight because I can't keep still!

Thank you Jigglylegs for you comment. We all seem to have different ways of coping with RLS I only wish there could be a universal answer to our problem. x

Hot water makes my skin dry and itchy. I live in a very cold place.

Hot water is the only thing that will help as long as I stay in the tub

and then I get it as soon as the legs want to rest again..

so sorry jaynielynne my way of relief of a hot bath doesn't agree and makes your skin dry with you. I guess we are all different. I posted my way, in case anyone else on the forum wanted to try it ! Have you tried Aqueous Cream for dry skin, can also used in bath water, but I should check in case you have a reaction to your itchy skin, yet it can be soothing ! Good luck xx
