RLS and Glutamate - See what Red Orbit has to say!
yes i saw something about this a few weeks ago, its good to see resaerch being done, hope something comes out of it for us, thanks for the link barried
Thanks barried - very interesting - good to see they are working on it - think I will have a little drinkie !
Thank you barried, interesting article!
Thanks barried! I also read somewhere that aspartame and other artificial sugars are I think converted or somehow increase levels of glutamate...
I was on holiday recently and had alcohol (not a lot) every night, as I don't drink a lot and along with my meds, for the first time in years I slept like a baby, so there might just be something in this story
interesting article, thank you Barried, I think a night cap is in order tonight x
Thanks for the article. I'm not sure what it means to me.
Drinking even 2 oz of booze makes me sleepy.
My mind slows way down but my legs have a mind of
their own. Alcohol seems to get them going more. = /
To be honest, in my 46 yrs., I've drank a handful of times.
My parents were anti drinkers. haha.
I am so excited about this article Sodium Glutamate is added to the starter cultures which produce cheese and yogurt. Is that why my RLS disappeared when I gave up these products all those years ago. Maybe I was not Lactose intolerant but was reacting to this additive?
As always, food or drink affects us all differently. I for one cant drink booze, like Yikes.
This is the similar article that went round all support groups, and the one i read.
