It wasn't until I needed help with my health that I realised there was no safety net and self management with advice from fellow sufferers was normality.

This excellent article only touches on the politics of the neglect of ME over decades. The truth behind it gets even more disturbing when you dig deeper into it.

One day the truth will out. Not just about the illness itself but the empire building and career protecting that has gone on over decades whilst leaving thousands of people alone and in the dark in huge amounts of physical, mental and emotional pain.

Let's hope the psychobabble brigade will be made to hang their heads in shame.
