I just got this link to a website with the news item in my emails. This is a very important move on the part of the World Health Organisation.
WHO important call for all clinical trial ... - Ramsays Disease
WHO important call for all clinical trial results to be made public
This is a helpful link but could you point me in the direction of the original information regarding WHO call etc. Thank you for the link.
Christine
A search on the post title produced this alltrials.net/news/who-call...
Thanks for that more direct link, Ian. I believe that my link takes you to a website with a link that takes you to the same or similar place to read that info. Sometimes hard to get to the original when things have been posted and shared many times down the line.
Wow.... Pay attention, all you fellow searchers for proper primary and secondary care physicians!
Hours and hours of research in search engines does pay off, as does careful attention to the names of people on documents.
Case in point: researched the name of a local GP practice where I thought I had seen one of the doctors declaring ME/CFS as one of several special interests.
Of course I was cynical in my approach. But some weeks later i went back to the surgery website and it had changes, and I could not find her picture with declared interests nor remember her name.
So I began to search the name of the clinic in general search engines. Lo and behold.... several pages down, came to a research paper by our esteemed Sir Dr Wesselly ...on his own website, simonwessely.com/Downloads/...
in which he thanked a list of primary care practices that had participated in his research.
Now drawing one of those black circles with the slash across on my image of that surgery's name.
Big black circle with slash should be enough to counteract my bad cognitive issues and short term memory loss which might collude to direct me back to that practice.
NEAR MISS.
I think I have now scoured the possible links that could lead me to a good doctor. Still not found one.
That is scary could have gone thinking the doc will be on top of everything when theyre not any good at all.
Thanks., brilliant, BudgieFriend
Could also make a great doc in practical terms for 'people' we may need/want to interact with? - as in a 'Letter to...' ?
Really appreciate
