No joke about how long it goes on stirring some memories as I read.
In Cancer the word is remission its still there so no cure for ME. With a disease thats very up and down with good days or bad ones using remission is more of the truth.

when it has ethical flaws that require special care in research with social implications.
Remaining as recommended treatment within NICE guideline CG53 would be such social implications in rational science without front loaded results.
NIH P2P rated the trial unreliable poor quality retracting research.
Oxford criteria poorly defines a research cohort and agreement on retiring was unopposed by the committee.
