Starting next week.

I am going to start the push up Challenge next week. I will have to start slow and it will take me a long time because I am coming back from a frozen shoulder that has atrophied muscles. But I have the OK from my physio to do wall push ups so I will work toward 100 of them and then on to knee push ups and then on to full ones. I am hoping by Feb 2016 I will be on the full push-ups.

Slow and steady is the way forward for me, I know it's not a race and I'm doing it for me.

Good luck everyone.

Slow and steady is always the way to go!

I don't think there is any other bodyweight exercise that will help restore shoulder strength as well as p'ups so it seems like a great recovery plan to me. You should have time to get through the 100 p'up challenge once against the wall and once on knees by Feb, so that sounds realistic. By the time you've done that, I reckon your shoulder strength will be right back up.

Good luck!

It sounds like you have a great approach to it, there's no rush, after all.

Good luck!
