I have struggled with PTSD for almost four years now. I have used talk therapy for years now and it has helped. I have looked for years for a peer-to-peer support group for PTSD that is non-military with no luck at all. I'm looking for an online group that I can join. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I have issues leaving my house, being in a crowd or a strange place and even driving. I know I can't be the only person not military that has PTSD looking for a peer-to-peer group.

This is a great peer-to-peer support group. Also the Anxiety and Depression Support group on this site. I like that group because it is so active there are people posting all day every day. I have PTSD and I am not military. You are far from the only one. Keep reaching out here. I have just joined this group. While I was in the Navy, that is not where my PTSD comes from. It comes from my childhood. So, I am glad you are here and that this group is available for all of us.
