I wish I had viewed this when my late husband was first diagnosed. Really shows the affect PSP has on the mind and body. Dudley Moore was so quick witted and zany.

I viewed this quite some time ago when my wife was first diagnosed as PSP. Sad to watch these things but it will prepare us all for the battle ahead.

This video reminds me of my mum in the early stages of PSP. 5 years on from diagnosis, she can no longer walk, her food is liquidized. Her drinks are the consistency of custard that have to be taken with a spoon. She is starting to refuse thickened hot drinks now and has made the decision that she wants her hot drinks made thinner , still using thick & easy but not so much. She understands this may cause aspiration, leading to chest infections and possible risk of choking. But it's her informed choice, it frightens me what the next few months may hold as her speech is declining so rapidly now. Advance directive is in the process of completion, just needs mums signature to make legal. She has chosen to not be peg fed and also wanted DNR written into the directive if we find ourselves in that position. I so admire her courage and proud to call her mum.

wow, i hope someday all this of PSP find a cure soon, a lot of people are diagnosed to late but this video open a way to think that a movie star record his life with psp to share to world , HUGS EVERYONE
