My husband has just been prescribed Seroquel for hallucinations and night terrors. Has anyone used this drug in PSP?

Hi, my dad was prescribed seroquel and it helped him a lot. He had bad sleep patterns and he was nervous and agitated the whole day - after he began seroquel (low dose - and just before going to sleep) things went better .. the neurologist just said to check heart of dad periodically though . so our experience with seroquel was positive .. dad tried a bunch of meds that only worse his situation - seroquel was the best for him ... but of course it's personal .. it's an "important" drug with its side effects .. if you have any doubts talk again with the neurologist ..

Thank you Tonia, this is helpful. We see the neuro in one week and I will discuss the side effects with him. My major concern is making my husband more sleepy than he already is on no meds. I do however want to help him to sleep without all of the agitation. Thanks again!

trazodone or clonazepam could work and do for many
