The nursing home have taken away my mum’s bed lever because they decided it was a trap risk for her hand. She doesn’t use it to actually get out of bed because she can’t move herself. But she used to hold it for security when she was being turned on her side for personal care. Personally I’d have thought they could just uncurl her hand from it before they move her but they are massively risk averse. Has anyone seen or used a cover for a bed lever?
