hiccups,coughing,sneezing

hello,my dad is having difficulty drinking now,he has had episodes of hiccups when he used to eat but ,now he is not eating at all just on fluids but the hiccups episodes are still with him its so difficult as when we tempt him with something nice to drink the the hiccups seem to start before he has even had a sip and it puts him off this is heart breaking

Hi, What is his diagnosis? there are treatments that can work for hiccups but they all depend on diagnosis as to what can be given and what will work
