There are so many things-my darling husband, my wonderful children and grandchildren, flowers. But, I have been a knitter and crocheter for years and while I can’t knit anymore because of my hand, I can still crochet thanks to my husband. I can’t do the complicated, multi-color projects I used to but I’m crocheting!

That is pretty ingenious! You husband should look into a patent for it, unless there is already something like it on the market.

Ron, I did a search for one-handed crochet several months ago and found several different solutions on YouTube. My husband’s design is based on something that we found but I like his version very much because it is so stable on my lap. I realized I couldn’t be the only person with some sort of handicap that was insistent on continuing their hobbies! There are even some determined one-handed knitters out there but that seems overwhelming to me.
How very clever! Nice that you can crochet! My neighbor said that she will teach me how but I’m not sure if she knows how stubborn I am at learning new things LOL
Excellent idea! Not sure how it works... but l will check it out on u tube. You are definitely a Warrior Woman in my book. Sending hugs... Granni B
Thank you, I’m not ready to just pack it in yet!
