Right place at right time

If you look close there is a rainbow behind the trees and as luck would have it I am actually above the rainbow. My luck ran out about half hour later as I got briefly snowed on.

That’s a beautiful picture and I can see the rainbow. Snowflakes already? Wow!

Yeah it's that time of year at the higher elevations. It was a brief 10 minute or so snow shower only. It was a light rain, changed to snow, back to rain. A week ago in the same area about 8" fell, most of that has melted but in the shady areas there is still some snow on the ground.
