This is lovely, I made a pillow case for my little camping pillow out of one of Steve’s shirts after he died and used it on my amazing trek to Everest Base Camp earlier this year.

Fabulous idea to make a pillowcase! I hope to be able to hike again someday. Oh, the bittersweet thoughts of new beginnings when this disease takes our existing love life away. I dread the inevitable and of course I still try to live in the moment. Cherish what we have because life is just too darn short.

Thank you for this idea. I just happen to have a little extra fabric and I see a pillowcase in this bears future!

He does look a bit like a badger 😂 My friend gave me her favorite tie and a belt along with the sweatshirt. I had to figure out a way to use all of the items. The back of the hat includes the design from the tie. I tried to add a second photo but I think I ended up replacing the first one. Now all you can see is the back of the hat 😂😂😂
